Monitoring the activity of one or more vehicles, and tracking such things as elapsed mileage (monthly or lifetime), MPG, fuel cost per mile by vehicle, or special trip mileage in your own custom-defined usage categories, is easy in Mile Manager.  At any time, you can go to the application's Vehicles Cabinet and find all of your fuel expenses, mileage statistics and special trip activity, sorted and filed under each applicable vehicle. You can create a variety of  vehicle reports and view numerous colored charts which illustrate vehicle-related quantities, that the application keeps and generates for you.  At a glance, you can tell which of your vehicles is getting the most use, and which vehicle is most cost effective, in terms of both MPG and vehicular fuel cost per mile.  (In the Mile Manager Fuel Cabinet, you can also find which brands and grades of gasoline yield the best fuel cost per mile, in your vehicles.)  

If you are leasing a vehicle, monitoring your accumulating mileage can be particularly important, and you will find it very easy to do in Mile Manager.  If you are managing your family fleet, you can tabulate your monthly or cumulative fuel or transportation expenses, to verify that the vehicles that get the most usage in your family, are also the vehicles that are most cost effective (otherwise, you may simply be throwing away money.)

Tax deductible mileage is easy to track, as well.  You can define custom categories of vehicle usage, according to any criterion you want - including tax deductible usage - and track such special mileage very easily.  At periodic intervals, you can create full printable reports of such mileage, accruing from any date range you choose.

Those who use their vehicles for appointments or business-related excursions, and who may bill clients or a parent company for either elapsed mileage or elapsed time (or both together), will find Mile Manager to be extremely helpful.  You can define Usage Categories that contain both mileage and time rates and settings, and can virtually automate your tracking, computation and report creation, for such billable time and mileage charges.

Several types of billing reports can be generated and custom configured with just a few mouse clicks.  You can use these reports to bill your clients or other entities for reimbursible mileage or time charges, that arise from these billable trips, and which fall within any date range you select.
